Last paperback reviews

March 14, 2016

Yesterday my last ever batch of paperback reviews appeared in the Independent on Sunday. Well, I had a good run. It was the 135th round-up, and I do – did, I mean – 5 each time; so that means I reviewed 675 books. In fact I occasionally did the odd stand-alone review too; so in all the years I was doing it I must have done around 700 books. I’ll miss it, I suppose. But at least now I can read, or re-read, whatever the hell I like. As soon as I’d finished that last batch I re-read Sense and Sensibility; then I read a Sophie Hannah thriller, Little Face; now I’m re-reading Philip K. Dick’s The Three Stigmata of Palmer Eldritch; and I have a strong feeling I’m going to re-read Dombey and Son after that. Anyway here is a link to my last-ever batch of paperbacks: http://www.independent.co.uk/arts-entertainment/books/reviews/paperbacks-reviewed-by-brandon-robshaw-from-love-hate-to-my-life-in-houses-a6925886.html
